My cell phone decided to go MIA (missing in action) last thursday... I'm afraid it was because he heard me saying that I wasn't gonna use him in Germany, I don't know, the thing is that he left me...
Of course, with my distracted mind, I noticed he was missing like two hours later... and even then, I thought I might forgotten it in the car... well, I didn't forget it... The next day I got a text in my mom's phone asking me for money to give me my phone back (It was the cheapest phone you can imagine, and old too, but I loved it!).. I actually considered it, but I decided to suspend the line so the guy (from now on, the "thief") wouldn't spend more credit...
Well... now I have to wait for the new chip till thursday, and that means I'll live a full week with no cell phone!... (I'm already trough half week and it's not so bad)
Weekend was more quiet with no cell phone, and trying to coordinate with friends to go out is really hard... I don't know absolutely any phone number by memory, so that's a problem... but I managed to work it out :) (nice weekend by the way)
Now, when this week started, I realized I have no clocks in my house except for cell phones and computers!!! that means I don't have an alarm clock to wake up, and no idea about the hour based on the sun (I'd suck as a boy scout)... so I'm getting late everywhere... and can't tell the other people I'm getting late, because I have no phone..
It's really a mess... hate to depend on such a small device!!! Nokia, this is all your fault!! (on the other hand, thanks Nokia for making phones resistent enough to be MY phones.. I used to drop and soak the poor thing almost every day).
I still have to survive the next three days... and find a friend's old phone to use until I leave (I can't go to Buenos Aires with no phone, right???) but I think I'll be ok...
Hate to admit that a cell phone makes life so much easier..
This white rabbit (with no phone) will write you soon :)
