(OMG the consulate is in a company's office! this is weird)

- Hello, I'm calling just to make a quick question about the internship Visa...

- YOU NEED TO COME HERE WITH THE ORIGINAL PAPERWORK

- Oh, wouldn't a scan document be enough? I'm waiting for my paperwork from Germany, and they will send me the Vorabzustimmung...

- WHAAT? I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. COME HERE WITH THE ORIGINAL PAPERS!!! I DON?T ANSWER ANYTHING BY PHONE KID!! 

- Ok, just one more question... is there a chance that the Vorabzustimmung allow me to accelerate the Visa process and give me a Visa before October 18th?

- WHATT? NO, THE VISA TAKES THREE MONTHS AND I CAN'T TALK TO YOU ANY MORE JUST COME IN PERSON WITH ORIGINALS!! BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA

Well this was "Visa phone call attempt n° 1"... I made a total of 11 attempts, between Cordoba's Consulate and the Embassy in Buenos Aires.. until I finally found a nice lady that understood the importance of the "Vorabzustimmung" and suddently asked one of her work partners about it...

MIRACLE! Now she happily answers me that with that paper, the Visa only takes one or two days if the rest of the paperwork is fine... (yay! at last a reasonable response!)

This morning I did my last attempt to save a long travel to Buenos Aires... I went to meet the old-crazy-consulate-lady in person...

She's not so old, she just seems really old because of all the blue eye shaddow... and the wrinkles in her mouth for having always such a bad face expression...

To make a long story short: they can't help me... so.. I'm going to the embassy..

The thing is.. now I have to travel 700 km to Buenos Aires to get the visa... I think my sister will go with me, maybe we can do some shopping :)

(Not much... the luggage policies of Lufthansa only let me carry 2 suitcases with 23kg each... I still don't know how I'm gonna take my shoes... maybe if I wear all my clothes at the same time?? does YOUR weight counts as luggage???)

Well, I have many other existencial questions but I better leave them for the time when I have my suitcases in my room and my entire closet over my bed (such a nice moment!)

Almost all my team partners answered the mail thread, so I'm starting to know them at last :) only Aldo's missing.. hope everything's ok for him!!! (maybe we have his adress wrong, I can't believe he ignores a 15 mails thread hahaha)

I'm pretty sleepy tonight so I'll tell you more about my pre-exchange stories some other time :)
